Daniela López Amézquita

Daniela López Amézquita is a Mexican audiovisual producer based in the Bronx, New York. She holds a degree in Social Communication from the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana in Xochimilco Campus (UAM-X) in Mexico City. For seven years, she worked at the Cineteca Nacional de México as an audiovisual media producer, where she discovered her passion for film and collaborated with important cultural institutions such as the Museo del Palacio de Bellas Artes and the Mexico City Philharmonic Orchestra.

With the goal of expanding her narrative language, she completed the New Media Narratives One-Year Course Program at the International Center of Photography (ICP), where she subsequently collaborated in the Photographic Archives department. She later joined the Bronx Documentary Center, where she currently works as a documentary video educator for the Youth Photo League and as an assistant for the Film Fellowship Program.

Currently, Daniela combines her audiovisual experience with community work as a Social Media Coordinator at the Mexican Studies Institute, where she promotes initiatives to spread Mexican culture and provide resources to the Mexican community in the United States.
